Methodology

How is the sowing month chosen?
The calculator adds the stored minimum and maximum days to the 15th of each sowing month. A sowing month is kept only when every month in that calculated harvest span sits inside one stored high-price window. Low-price months are not used. A span longer than the high-price window is left off.
What does the zone badge mean?
Ideal climate and market match means that sowing month is also inside a stored planting window for the zone. Off-season care or rain shelter means a planting window is stored and this sowing month is outside it. Planting window not stored means this crop has no placed month window for that zone.
Is this a price forecast?
No. Wholesale and retail vegetable prices fluctuate with weather and supply. The page times a harvest against stored high-price months. It is not financial advice and it does not quote a price.
