These values stay on your device. Clearing site data removes them. Necessary only is enough to use the tools.
Newsletter
The footer form asks for an email and for consent. The address is normalized to lowercase before it is considered. If the server has no Supabase service role key, the address is checked and then discarded. Nothing is invented in its place. When the list is connected, the server upserts email_norm on newsletter_subscribers with the service role. Visitors cannot read that table. A confirmation email is not sent until a mail provider is connected.

A Short shows a preview first. The player from youtube-nocookie.com loads only after you press Play. The channel link is @PlantPulse_27.
Analytics and advertising
Accept all can allow a privacy-friendly analytics script, and only when a Plausible domain is configured. With the default setup, that script is absent. Ad network scripts are not included while NEXT_PUBLIC_ADS_ENABLED is false. A future ad would also need a commercial hosting plan and AdSense or Journey approval.
