Container planner
Soil volume for a container, grow bag, or raised bed. Minimum pot size stays blank until a source is stored. Overcrowding uses stored spacing only.

Crop figures are cited from public agriculture pages, including the Department of Agriculture Sri Lanka.
Methodology
- Where does the soil volume come from?
- Length times width times depth, converted to litres. You can replace that with a volume you already know. Neither number is a crop fact. A bed larger than 50 square metres is rejected so it can be split.
- What is the minimum container check?
- Pass or fail only when a minimum volume or depth is stored for that crop. Every crop in the current data has those fields empty, so the check says data coming soon. Depth below a stored minimum is a hard fail when a minimum exists.
- When is a bed overcrowded?
- Each plant footprint is the stored in-row spacing times the stored between-row spacing. If those footprints add up to more than the bed, the page warns. If any chosen crop has no spacing, the page does not call the bed clear.
