Guide

What to plant now in a small space

Use the stored month lists and container figures to choose a crop for a pot or balcony this month.

Stored figures stay next to their citation. Wholesale and retail vegetable prices fluctuate with weather and supply. A high or low month is harvest-timing guidance, not financial advice, and this page does not quote a price.

This month's plant list is the planting calendar, not a guess from the season names. Open Plant now for the current month, or pick a location in the planting calendar.

A pot still needs a stored container figure. The container planner checks volume and depth only when those numbers are on file. The seed calculator counts plants from stored spacing.
